Taildragger
A taildragger is an aircraft with the center of gravity behind the main gears and therefore needing a third wheel under the tail. Virtually all aircraft were taildraggers until the end of the Second World War, when modern airfields with concrete runways allowed for tricycle aircraft. Expanded definition
